The Gentleman combines a classic, two-transistor fuzz circuit with a dirty character boost.  You can run the fuzz alone into a dirty amp, use the boost into a clean amp to simulate an overdriven amp, or run everything dirty and get some compressed, violin-type tones.  The fuzz circuit is maxed internally so you control the level of dirt with your guitar's volume pot.

The controls are:

LEVEL - Controls the volume of the fuzz circuit

BOOST - Controls the output level of the boost circut

SWEET - Controls the character of the boost, from punchy to almost fuzzy

*side effects may include: looking down on your fellow players, exploiting front of house workers, excessively popping champagne bottles, and forcing your chauffeur to load a 4x12 cabinet into the trunk of your Rolls Royce.

BRINGS THE SMOKE - LOVE THIS PEDAL - Gentleman Oh Yes

I have been a Fan of Buddy Blues for sometime now. What a great personality and amazing player. This pedal is well deserved. I've had a love hate with Fuzz pedals. This one is a little different. So many of them have that one sweet spot. At least for me this one has a great spectrum. Great work OCE and Buddy. My new board is almost finished and this pedal is centerstage.

Gentleman Fuzz and Boost

Fat and smooth with a hint of spitty and nasty; just how I like my fuzz! Sharp both sonically and aesthetically, it sounds great through both my Tone King (tube) and Wiggy (solid state) amps, and looks elegant while doing so. The ability to engage the boost independently from the fuzz makes this essentially two pedals. I’m having a lot of fun with this pedal!
